Hi Tania,

Welcome! Nice to hear that you are traveling around.

City folks kind of having their happiness drained by city pressures huh! It's a pity.

Hope Singaporeans can find some time to take a breather and relax a bit.

@Andrew
Well, I would give away my seat of cos. hehe! Well, why not we joint forces for the new blog project. ehehe. that would be fun, eh? :p

@Donald,
Yeah, it's important to know and identify the demand from blog readers.. Xiaxue seems to do it well ;)

@Tania
I guess it's not only Singapore. I think it's really the hectic city lifestyle that surrounds Singapore that turns almost everyone into a moving zombie..
Maybe we can make a difference ;) Start doing it urself. I try to say thanks to the uncle and auntie that clear the plates at the foodstall. :)

Andrew you are right that Singapore has the "Keep to ourselves" culture. But I their defence, I think Singapore is too much a CITY. While David and myself have been traveling the different states in USA for the last few weeks, I realised that most places here the people are generally friendly and like you said would chat with each other like old friends even if they just met in the lift. But in the big cities like New York and Minneapolis etc... have the same kind of mentality. Not saying that they are not nice people but just not so nice to people they do not know. For example we went to meet some of David's family in Minneapolis and they were sweet as pie even those that did not know us but the people in the city like shopping area... was not too nice. So I think it is the rat race of the city life that makes people like that. But I do encourage us Singaporeans to take the extra effort to be nice even to people we do not know and it would make our lives more fulfilling. And Singapore would be a much nicer place to live in.

Well, if a person is happy or not.... usually you can see it in their eyes. Ain't it sad that Singapore has that "Keep to ourselves" culture? When I was studying in Perth, even when strangers meet in the lift, they chat as though they have known each other for very long.... with such warmth. Singapore.... Singapore.... can we be a little more warm please...... at the very least, say thank you to the old lady clearing your dishes in the food court. It'll make her day.

haha...xiaxue's hatred are monetised because of the traffic that she is getting.. regardless of bad or good publicity, she still gets her traffic..and knowing how to monetise the traffic is the best thing that you shld know if you want to make money on the internet.. so, remember to look to me, i am the internet traffic and monetisation specialist!!

as for the looks on mrt, maybe they are too tired.. on the other hand, if you are smilling heehee and haha on the mrt when you are alone, people may think you are crazy also..

well it is a typical singaporeans' behaviour, when someone is too nice to you, some may start to doubt their intentions..pardon me but i do not even know how the neighbours who lived just next to me look like...

Haha. Be careful for what you wish for.. It might come true ;)
Well, most of the time when I am in the MRT I would always checking out if there's empty seats.. that matters more, and if I have a seat, I would hope that it will be a smooth ride (Meaning I don't have to give away my seat to someone else. lol!)
